The African Sharptooth Catfish is a freshwater fish commonly found across Africa and can live in lakes, rivers, and swamps, bringing their inhabitance to the Orange River! These fish feed from insects, small fish and grains and are most commonly known to dwell at the bottom of water bodies. These remarkable fish are airbreathing, enabling them to crawl above the surface and stay above water for days, provided they remain moist.
